We had such a great time at our Fall Festival! Thank you again to Mrs. Nguyenkhoa who organized and hosted the event! And thank you to Mr. Nguyenkhoa for taking these fantastic pictures!

As part of American Education Week, students at Urbana were asked to discuss why they loved our school. Mrs. Day's Dudes created short powerpoint presentations to display their thoughts.

Another great field trip for our class! We went to the ESSL at Lincoln Elementary to expand on our knowledge of geology and Earth's ever changing surface. Thank you to Mr. Bowman for sharing his expertise with us! Also thank you to Mr. Williams and Ms. North for accompanying us! Stay tuned! Pictures coming soon!

We are having a great time at the Weinberg Center! Thanks to Mr. North and Mr. Barss for chaperoning!

Today a permission slip went home for the 5th grade field trip to the Weinberg Center. We will be attending a science play on Thursday, November 8th. We will leave school promptly at 11:30 and return at approximately 2:15. The cost of the trip for students is $8.. However, if your student brought in money for the Fair Field Trip, that money will be applied to this trip meaning that only $6 additional are required. The cost for chaperones is $6.  Permission slips and money must be returned by Wednesday, November 7.
